@Chris - That's the spirit! I look back at my 1.1 work and it feels like VB6 or FoxPro for DOS. The good news is that 3.5 has 2.0 as its foundation. If you are doing any kind of service oriented architectures, the WCF will make your life a lot easier.

I too have felt that my brain has had a hard time keeping up the past couple years. However I am thrilled that the technology I specialize in continues to have the most advanced capabilities and toolset available. It's extremely exciting to see the advancement in web development the last couple years. My applications have improved so much since upgrading to asp.net 2.0, that 1.1 seems archaic. I'm sure I'll feel the same once my company upgrades to 3.5. I say keep it up Microsoft.
