Disclaimers, Stability, and Released Products

The standard disclaimer for beta software goes like this, “It is important to understand that the beta release of any product will not display the stability of a shipped Microsoft product.”

True enough, but this is stating the obvious. Heck, if we are being honest in the product warnings, what about a disclaimer for a released product?

Shouldn't the RTM version say, “It is important to understand that a shipped product will not display the stability of the first service pack for a Microsoft product.”
