I'm paying far too much attention to the Visual Studio 2005 installation routine these days. You see, one of the screens features an attractive, smiling young woman who is looking down at some object. I can't get her image out of my head! What's she holding in her hands? Why is she smiling? What's her name? What's her connection to Visual Studio or Microsoft?
 | Please don't burst the bubble by telling me she's just an anonymous model in some stock photo package. I'd rather think that Microsoft, like Wal-Mart, gives developers a chance to appear in ads and promotions for their products. That's it! She's almost certainly on the installer team or maybe a tester. Gosh, maybe I'll get to meet her in Redmond at the MVP Summit late next week! Update: My dear Mona didn't show at the MVP Summit. My heart is broken. I'll never meet her. |
