Canadians: Get VS 2005 and Advice for Free!

It's hard to believe, but people who attend the Visual Studio 2005 Launch Events in Canada will receive a free copy of Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005. Here's the word from MS evangelist Mark Relph:

"The Launch Team is pleased to confirm that Special Edition copies of Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005 will be made available to everyone who attends the launch events.  This is full functional "non-evaluation" software."

The events across Canada will also feature "cabanas" where you can drop by, chat about the products and get some free advice from experts such as Microsoft MVPs. I'll be attending the events and at the cabanas in Victoria (Nov. 17) and Vancouver (Nov. 22) this year, so please drop by to say 'Hello' to the new kid in town.

The word is that these events are filling up, so make sure you register soonest.

I'm just about to start packing the RV for the trip from Ontario to B.C. See you on the west (left) coast!
