If you're looking for congratulations on becoming an MVP then you've got it ... it's not easy ... but maybe a more helpful post would be to enumerate the reasons why "There's never been a more exciting time to be a C++ developer on the Windows platform!"

Dave: I wasn't looking for congratulations. Why do I think its an exciting time to be a Windows C++ developer? There are lots of reasons. Windows Vista and 7 have introduced many new native APIs that make my life much easier and enable many new scenarios for applications. Visual C++ just gets better and better. The new language and library features in VC2010 are very promising. Stay tuned for my upcoming articles in MSDN Magazine for more.
