What does a bored developer do late at night?

How about create a specialized repeater that allows you to define a NoneTemplate to be used when there are no items in the data source.  Did this simply because I was (a) bored, (b) curious how it would look, and (c) would like to use it in Community Server rather using a footer template with a table row or DIV marked hidden and lame logic for showing it.

I was looking for a similar way to do this with the DataGrid - display a custom template when no data is present (I believe Whidbey has this feature). Presumably it's a similar technique with a repeater control?

Could you post the source code please?
