Study materials for exam 70-310

To clear the 70-310 I've used the official MSPress book, and I can rate it 3 stars and a half over five.

I've also used the SAMS book "Building Distributed Applications with VB.NET", it's not intended for the exam but it covers a lot of topics. I already had it at home and I found it very useful.

I think that the most difficult part of the exam was the declarative security. Perhaps I found it difficult because I've not studied (nor used...) that topic very much...

And now... relax!!!

So after two weeks of hard work and after the exam that I've passed now it's time to relax for two weeks on the Alps...

See you in August :-)

70-310 Cleared

Hey, I've passed the 70-310 exam and now I'm a MCAD...

The exam was a little bit difficult that the other two (305 and 306), but I've learnerd a lot of useful things

Now I've to work hard to pass the 70-300 and the elective for the MCSD.NET... until October!!!

Ok, I'm the first on Google!!! At least in Italy!!!
Hey, having seen some interesting posts about Google I've tried to search "lorenzo barbieri" and incredibly I'm the first of the list. WOW!!!
Come to meet me this afternoon

Ok, it's our last day here.

I'll be all the afternoon at the Self Paced HOL, so if somebody wants to come I'll appreciate it.

I'll be proctoring the DEV and Web Services labs.

See you there

Good Morning Barcelona!!!!

Only one man can collect most of the Tech Ed dekegates at 8.30 AM the day after the Tech Ed Party and all the night clubs, ramblas, tapas, cervezas and so on.

From now he is not 'The "Don" of Web Services' anymore, for me he will be 'The "Don" of wake-up!'

Good job!

Clemens Vasters sessions at Tech Ed 2003

I've follewed two sessions from Clemens until now and what I like is that he writes a lot of interesting code.

What I didn't liked is that yesterday evening he presented a session made only of code and I was so tired that I couldn't follow everything he'd put on the code.

I only understood that it was about extending the Web Services stack :-)

I know it's my fault, go to sleep before in the night and you can understand better the sessions :-)

This morning also a lot of code and a lot of WSDL (it's a session about loose coupling and serialization patterns for WS) but now I'm able to follow him! WOW

Perhaps the next time the schedule can be better.

Event organizer, please put Clemens in the morning, but not at 8 o'clock :-)

Software Legends at Tech Ed 2003

Ok guys, you are the software legends, you are the most important speakers at the conference, but why there are pictures of you in the bathrooms that look at me when I'm supposed to be alone? Why?

I don't need any help there! No training, no consultants, the only thing that I want is to be alone :-)

Visual Studio .NET ATE at Tech Ed 2003

Today it was a great day for me.

First a meeting with Janet and other MCTs, then I went to the Ask The Expert booth where I answered some very interesting questions.

I was there with a lot of people, from Brian Goldfarb (from the ASP.NET team) to Corrado Cavalli (an italian MVP), to a Regional Director from Poland (sorry but I forgotten your name), there were also other two MVPs from France and Austria and also two speakers from the Visual C++ Team..

It was a very nice pleasure meeting such expert and fun people.

Getting to One Architecture Tech Ed 2003 CHT

I love that man. Don't misunderstand me, but I really like Rafal Lukawiecki, he's one of the best Speaker that I've seen.

Also in this Chat session he was great. Everytime that I hear him he opens my mind with something new to think about. I hear some great questions and considerations from most of the delegates that there where there. Nice guys.

Great.

If you can go to one of his sessions, please do it.
