I've updated and restyled the list of MSF v3.0 resources.
Thank you for all the feedback!
What I really like from Windows XP is the networking tab of Windows Task Manager.
I want to request that the graphical information regarding one network adapter could be displayed also in the Network Status dialog, where I have the actual info but not the history of the values.
What do you think?
Nothing to add... Only to clarify that the previous post was simply a rant against that particular feature... The new SP2 update simply rocks :-)!!!
UPDATE: I really appreciated that the built-in firewall has kept all the exceptions that I've set, considering that I removed the build 2055 to install the build 2082... Very cool... I've a lot of exceptions...
I don't know if it was the same with previous versions, but with the lastest Win XP Sp2 update, if you use Automatic Updates, you install the updates, then you tell it that you want to Restart Later... It starts to poll you every x minutes... Do you want to Restart... Do you want to Restart... Do you want to Restart... Do you want to Restart... Do you want to Restart... Do you want to Restart...
NO!!!! I told you at least 10 times that I want to restart later...
Please let me finish my job, than you can restart that damn PC...
This is for my italian readers...
PortaZero is one of the best (or probably the best) italian web site regarding IT security.
But today they've stopped their activity. They cannot continue because of the huge costs of servers, connectivity, etc... and they've not found enough money from advertising, sponsorships, and so on...
The site will be up and running until March, 7th, but from now I've to search for another source of great security articles...
So, I've finally dropped SharpReader and I'm jumped on the RSSBandit wagon...
I like the ability to tweak the XSL files to customize the appearance of blog posts, the integrated tabbed browser, search capabilities, and so on...
Perhaps it's a little bit slower when it detects a network connection, and I'm not completely used to the inability to delete a post, but I really like this program... And it's memory occupation, too!!!
This morning a snow storm changed my life...
I was going to an judicial auction (I've used the babelfish translator from the original italian words...) to try to buy my new house...
I spent more than two hours on the highway, only to make 20km, I've missed the auction, and so my new house is gone away... :-(((
Let's have better luck next time!!!
In the www.softwarelegends.com website there is this message: "The legends are on summer vacation. Watch for a Fall appearance schedule -- coming soon!"
How long is summer in the U.S.? Are they in Australia now?
Has somebody kidnapped all the software legends after the final session at TechEd 2003 Europe?
Hey Don, what have you done to our beloved legends after that session :-)?
Please, tell me something, I cannot wait anymore!!!
I've just downloaded RSS Bandit and I'm ready to test it.
The first impressions are good, but I'm not completely used to the new interface.
Only one thing that I don't understand... how can I delete a post? I've tried DEL, I've tried the context menu, I've searched for the X icon, but nothing...
Yes, I know that it's the essence of the World Wide Web to be linked from somebody else, but it's a great pleasure for me to be linked from one of the sites that I check everyday, the great bink.nu.
They have posted my article about MSF resources and linked my previous post announcing it...
