Lifetime updates... or not :-(

Two years ago I bought Battery Pack 3.5 for my PPC from OmegaOne, the best program I've bought for my Pocket PC, and they claimed on their site that lifetime updates will be available.

Everything went fine until version 5.4, but after that they have decided to repackage it under the Battery Pack Pro name, and they're asking money for the upgrade.

And registered users of this new version will receive only "MINOR" updates.

I think that LIFETIME is a very long time, and it cannot last only TWO YEARS.

I don't have any problems buying a new version after two years of very nice and useful updates, but I don't like who change the rules while I'm playing!!!

What crappy service. Thanks for the heads up - will avoid them in the future.

Same thing happened to me with the first version of Real Player - and I've never bought another version.
