InVirtus VM Optimizer prerelease review updated!

I've update the review of InVirtus VM Optimizer 2.0 prerelease.

I added a test that I made today, because I don't think it's snake oil... :-)

Click here to see the picture!

I've taken an existing VHD, with Windows XP SP2 and other software (in the center of the image). The original VHD was NTFS compressed.

I cloned the file, renamed it and optimized with InVirtus VM Optimizer. Then I've launched Virtual Disk Wizard to compact the VHD file, and finally I've compressed it with NTFS compression. The results are on the first screen.

Than I cloned the file again, I started Disk Cleanup, I defragged the disk, I used the Virtual Disk Precompaction Tool, then I compacted it with the Virtual Disk Wizard, then I've compressed it with NTFS compression. The results are on the third screen.

The results are clear I think. I really like this software.

P.S. this is my 300th post... ;-)

How can we common folk get a pre-release? I do all my clients in VPC images, this would be huge for me.
