It seems that from today it's possible: March 29, 2006 USB over Network v2.2 has been released. Full compatibility with VMware, MS Virtual PC and MS Virtual Server is added. I've not yet tried it... I'm pretty busy at the moment, buy if you try it, please...

I was reading all the blogs about the "vulnerability" in Windows XP SP2 that a malicious program running as Administrator can fool the security center. I think that if I have a malicious program running inside my PC, my last problem is the security center...
According to this article , IBM has told all the employees to wait to install XP SP2 until all their web applications are fixed to work with it... I know a lot of companies that have the same problems... I'm thinking that making RC1, RC2 and so on available...

XP SP2 doesn't include only fixes or security related additions. It includes also: Windows Movie Maker 2.1 Windows Media Player 9 Series Perhaps this is related to the HUGE download size... :-)
I've downloaded and installed Windows XP SP2 and everything is ok! I was already using build 2162, so I was prepared, but the update process was very very smooth. Now I remember that some folks from Microsoft promised that right after the SP2 release...
