The article gives a brief introduction to Reporting Services and then shows a sample program that can obtain reports from the Reporting Services Web Service.

As always you can use this blog to provide feedback on this article.

There was a problem and the very final part of the article was cutted, with another listing and the conclusions...

I hope to be able to post it on the web...

ioProgrammo (one of the italian leading IT magazines) is out with a new article from me!

The title of the article is "Rendiamo sicuri i Web Services!" and speaks about WS-Security with WSE 1.0 for .NET.

The topic on the cover is "Web Service e sicurezza".

The article is in the Advanced Edition part of the magazine, it erroneously has the UML icon... but it speaks about Web Service, I can assure you :-)

Italian IT magazine "ioProgrammo" (#80) is out with an article from me!

I'm very happy! My article regarding WSE 1.0, WS-Attachments and WS-Routing is out.

And is included in one of the best Italian IT magazines (ioProgrammo), especially this issue, May 2004.

There are great articles, for example there is an article that explains how to make an hardware key to protect your programs, or an article that explains how to prepare an activation procedure like the one in Windows XP or the newest versions of Office, and many others...

Coming back to my article this is the first part. The next part regarding WSE 1.0 and WS-Security will be published in the next months.

I know that WSE 2.0 is on the horizon, but at this time the only supported way to improve your web services is WSE 1.0, and this article provides a solution to transfer binary files using a Web Service.

The first speaks about Aspect Oriented Programming (AOP) and its relationship with .NET, ranging from COM+/Enterprise Services, ContextBound Attributes, eXtensible C#, CLAW, LOOM, Aspect C#, to some interesting comments from Clemens Vasters, Don Box (at Tech Ed 2003 Europe), John Lam, and others...

The second is a review of the great Reflector, from Lutz Roeder, plus a small review of the Reflector Managed Add-In, that I cannot find anymore on the net...
