My IE8 Accelerators to download

For those of you who are already running IE8 (since IE8 beta 2 is available), I made some accelerators ready to use:

Search Images with Live Search
“Use this accelerator to find related images with Live Search based on selected text.”

Search with Google Canada
“Use this accelerator to find information with Google Canada.”

Use Accelerators in IE8 to search, map, e-mail, translate, or share content from any web page you’re currently viewing with just one click. Learn more.

Select the text (1 click), click the accelerator (1 click), click the option (1 click) = 3 clicks not one :-)

I love mouse-based search in IE8, where you select text and do a search on your favorite sites. Thanks for developing some killer accelerators esp. live images

Actually, if you think you might like the IE 8 Accelerators feature (I do), you will absolutely LOVE KallOut. I found this program through CNET Reviews.

Check out Kallout at http://http://www.kallout.com

KallOut offers many more accelerator pages that work for selections that you do inside any of the IE6 7 8 (you don't need to wait for IE 8), AND Firefox and all of Microsoft Office, AND PDF. I've been really loving this KallOut application since I found out about it.

My 2 Cents is that mouse based Search is a KILLER feature of IE8 but KallOut takes the game to a new level. Anyway, I found KallOut at http://http://www.kallout.com

KallOut working great for me so far (a few weeks), just FYI.

@Aurora: You have to create an accelerator (read: msdn.microsoft.com/.../cc287851(VS.85).aspx) and deploy it on the gallery (www.ieaddons.com) so that users can install it to their browser (IE8 only).
