We get some fun :-) !!!!!
The well known French journal Le Monde has just published an article (in French) about the European court decision concerning Microsoft and it Windows Media Player.
It means that Microsoft sells Windows with RealPlayer and that the european court decided that they are not allowed to do it anymore because it hurts RealNetworks.
I guess that the journalist could see his mistake just by reading the names: RealPlayer <--> RealNetworks.
I have been interviewed by the French magazine 01 Informatique about the software development industrialization.
For sure the article talks about Microsoft, Visual Studio 2005 Team System, IBM, Atlantic and Borland Themis.
The whole article in French is also available as a PDF.
This morning at 1:30 AM, I reached a new milestone in the development of the publishing tool I am developing for Tech Head Brothers web site. I was able to publish content directly from Word 2003 using a Web Service secured by WS-Policy and a X509 certificate.
Yesterday, finally, I was able to create a X509 certificate working correctly with WSE SP2. After lots and lots of trials using makecert without any success, I tried openssl under cygwin. And guess what, the certificate was working correctly. That was the main issue I had since a while.
Now I am searching the way to install the public part of the certificate during the setup of the application. Any idea ?
I just started to test the combination of Jetbrains Omea Reader and IMHO 1.0 Instant Blogger. Omea
is good when you read rss feeds and newsgroup. I like the way you can search,
create categories, views... For the moment I couldn't find an easy way to
quickly se the thread I started or replied to for examples in all my
newsgroups.
Concerning IMHO, it is m y first post, so I will see after some time, but I really
like it's simplicity.
