I download SP2 today from
MSDN and installed it on two machines. They both had the same issue during installation - whilst performing the backup, the install failed to copy atapi.sys. The only other problem I seem to be experiencing with SP2 is that on successful installation, the Security Center report the Virus Protection entry as “Checking Status” - “Norton AntiVirus report that it is installed, but its status is unknown.” However, if I check Norton directly, its running fine.
