Quiz 2: What solution would you propose?
Some good replies for the first quiz. So continuing on from the last quiz, would the solutions already proposed change if the trades were received on the message bus within a transaction?

As long someone can tell us (maybe the trade object itself) whether the trade is committed or not. The version processing sequence is then modified to take account of it's transactional state.
Same problem applies in my previous post concerning timeouts. What if a trade never commits or rollsback? It blocks subsequent trade versions.
