Sylvain Duford is Avanade Canada’s Regional Lead Architect. In this new position, Sylvain is a key member of the Americas CTO office, and has a range of responsibilities related to quality assurance and architectural oversight of Avanade’s largest opportunities. Sylvain is also a Microsoft Solution Architecture MVP. As a senior solution architect, he has been architecting and integrating enterprise applications and streamlining business processes for large mission-critical environments for over 15 years. Sylvain has also been working closely with Microsoft’s product teams and consulting services for 8 years. A regular contributor to MSDN and Microsoft Developer conferences, Sylvain has deep experience leading enterprise architecture, and application development for large Canadian and American businesses including financial institutions, manufacturers, and Governments. Prior to joining Avanade, Sylvain was the Chief Architect and Director of Sales Engineering at Cactus Commerce, Inc. He also held similar architecture positions at AQuantive, Inc., BEST Consulting, Inc., and EXOCOM, Inc.
