Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 On Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11)

  Well.. Today I am going to provide a fix for MS CRM end user / developers.

 Has anyone get error while opening CRM 2011 in internet explorer. "Microsoft Dynamics CRM requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or a later version. Upgrade or install Internet Explorer and try again. " even you have up-to-date internet explorer with you. so why this error is coming.

 Take it easy...

 First look what version of internet explorer are you using. by navigating to "About Internet Explorer" (Help option from toolbar)

 Nice that you have the latest version of explorer but the bad thing is MS CRM 2011 doesn't recognize IE 11 as valid browser version.

 To fix that issue, just follow the following steps.

 1. Press F12 key

2. You will find a new window at bottom of the browser. Go to left side and scroll down till you find the icon as shown in image below

3. Change the following properties,

 a.  Document mode : Internet Explorer 10 or  IE 7 / higher

 b. User agent settings : 9 or 7 / higher

4. run the same url again in the browser. Your CRM screen will come up.

OR.. there is another way, which is for permanent domain names like asp.net, google.ae. Similarly, you have permanent server DSN in your organization. You can add those into compatibility list by following the steps below.

Click on "Compatibility View Settings"

Click on ADD button. The browser will then refresh automatically.
