I am amazed that you actually believe in this Enterprise Architecture pipe-dream.

These guys spend their lives creating documents - while the business is struggling to realize new business opportunities.

EA is the biggest con IT has pulled off.

I believe in it because I live from it. I'm living just from percentage from the ROI that such "biggest con IT has pulled off" manage to SAVE for organization. therefore I suggest you and others to start learn what EA is all about...

I suggest you learn to get a life! Its not the biggest con, yet, but as embattled developers sit there and laugh at idiots like you who profess wonderess solutions to the ever revolving habits of business who are forever trying to reduce the cost of ever changing requirements. Instead of continually spouting crap, why don't people you just get on with solving the problems.

Hi Natty,

you may want to correct a few things
1. C4ISR is now replaced by DODAF
2. Togaf has 2 version with Toagaf 8 being the "enterprise architecture" one (and 7 only "technical architecture")
3. IEEE 1471 is a standard describing the various part of architecture documentation and is not a framework in itself

Also what is the meaning fo the relations (i.e. lines between frameworks)
