Does the latest patch for winzip turn it into a firewall?

I am watching The .Net show 40 at the moment where about halfway trough the show they asked John and Jane Q Public in Any-town USA if they had a firewall and after most of them said yes or no they asked if they knew what a firewall was. The best response in my humble opinion was: “I am not sure we do or not, I think so we have a winzip or something”. This really makes me wonder maybe it's even worse for users to think they know then to not know at all.

You know, for a while I was reading sites like Newsforge. LinuxToday and Slashdot and coming to the conclusion that Linux really WILL own the consumer desktop sooner rather than later. But after watching that insert in the .NET show, I slapped myself screaming "What was I thinking???"
