Where is the Mail Icon on a 64-bit machine

In setting up my exchange account on my Windows XP 64-bit machine, I had a difficult time finding the Mail icon.  In a 32-bit machine, if Outlook is installed, there is an Icon called Mail which is in the control panel.

But, on my 64-bit machine, I google, I searched, I asked, I did everything except find it.  Finally, after quite some time, I was able to locate it.  It was easier than I thought, but not where I was looking.

In either Category View or Classic View, on the left hand side is a link called "View x86 Control Panel Icons".  That was it!  In there are a bunch of Icons that weren't in the main section of the control panel.  Mine currently has Java, Mail, Program Updates, QuickTime, Speech, Text Services and Input Languages.
