Hi,

I had made some changes to my e-mail accounts, in particular I had to create another Outlook profile. After doing so, Dynamics CRM Outlook Client stopped working.

I honestly do not why. I think it may be something related to Offline version as only one profile can be set up per machine.

Anyway, I tried to re-configure it and while doing so, I constantly received the following error:

Action Microsoft.Crm.Config.Client.InstallPstAction failed.
LaunchOutlookInstallerProcess failed.

Retrying didn't work at all.

Based on some people who had similar problem here, I went into Outlook to 'Tools --> Options -->’Mail Setup’ Tab -->'Email Accounts’ Button -->'Data
Files’  to see if there were any CRM line so as to remove it,  but couldn't find any. Neither on 'Tools --> Options --> ’Mail Setup’ Tab --> ’Email Accounts’ Button -->
’Address Books’

So, what worked for me was:

1. Uninstall the Dynamics CRM client for Outlook.

2. Install it again.

3. Apply Rollup 7.

4. Apply Rollup 11.

5. Configure it through Configuration Wizard.

Believe it or not, I couldn't find another alternative. As I am using Outlook 2010, the installation pre-requisites fail but closing the window and pressing 'yes' to cancelation window will continue the installation. Look at this post if any problem.

Hope it helps,

PP
