&lt;p&gt;cd C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;(where Windows is your windows directory and .50727 is your .NET version)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;aspnet_regiis –ir&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Note: &amp;nbsp;This will not change the .NET version for existing websites.&lt;/p&gt;
