Silverlight Soliloquy: The Beginning

After reading Jesse Liberty's blog series at the Silverlight.net site, I decided to journey along with him.  As he is wearing the hat of a developer learning Silverlight from scratch, I will do the same.  I will "shadow" Jesse's blog, highlighting my own discoveries and questions along the way.

And now, here starts the soliloquy of my alter-ego - Shadowman:

I keep hearing about Silverlight.  From what others are saying, this is going to be the next big thing for web development.  I think I need to look into it...

I did some searches on the net, and I came across the www.silverlight.net web site.  Oh good!  A guy named Jesse Liberty has posted a blog called The Great Asynchronous Learning Experiment - Day 0.  This blog looks to be the beginning of many that will baby-step me into Silverlight.  I can even leave comments that reflect my own discoveries along the way.

According to the comments on this first blog, it appears that there are some cool learning resources at the silverlight.net web site.  Hmm, I think I will start by exploring the Quickstarts.
