Nice article. However, is there a %Root% environment variable?

%Root%/Windows/Microsoft.net/Framework/v4.0.21006/Config/

should be:

%SystemRoot%/Microsoft.net/Framework/v4.0.21006/Config/

or:

%SystemDrive%/Windows/Microsoft.net/Framework/v4.0.21006/Config/

My machine says .NET is up to v4.0.30319 now, so:

%SystemRoot%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\Config

HAH! Thanks!!! This worked like a charm - i went with solution 1 since my control is very simple and static. For those that are having problems - check your page source for the "name" and make sure you have the right index set.

Not completely right, because Predicate<T> has already been introduces in .NET 3.0 and is not recommended anymore according to this design guidelines: blogs.msdn.com/.../linq-framework-design-guidelines.aspx
