AutoPatcher

This is a great idea but licensing can be a problem as Larry Seltzer say in this post:

In my latest column I complain about Microsoft's failure to provide good offline patching systems and describe how to hack one up yourself.

But a reader points me to AutoPatcher, a freeware project to build silent offline patchers for various versions of Windows. I'm downloading it right now and I'm not sure when I'll get a chance to look at it, but it looks like they bundle all the patches together into the package with the software. Can they do that? I mean maybe nobody will stop them, but I wonder if the Microsoft license really allows this.
