Where is SQL Server 2005 Beta 1 aka Yukon ??

OK like everybody I see a lot on SQL Server Express Beta 1. But where is the father, I mean SQL Server 2005 Beta 1 ?

Not an official word from Microsoft, nothing on the blog. May I suspect some deliveries problems here ?

And of course, what are the differences between the two versions ?

Have the names changes? Beta 1 for yukon was last year. I thought that this was going to be beta 2. :-)

Yukon Beta 1 came out last fall. Beta 2 should be out soon.

Well this is what I call confusion :-)

So does it means that the SQL Express Beta 1 is already obsolete, if SQL 2005 is due soon ?

SQL Express Tech Preview is almost Beta 2. We may see a SQL Express Beta 2 refresh when SQL Server 2005 Beta 2 is complete.

SQL Server 2005 Beta 2 will be out within 1-2 months(hopefully: TechEd Amsterdam info)

SQL Server 2005 Beta 2 will use the .Net Framework v2.0 Beta 1 build.

So why the Beta 1 of Yukon is not on MSDN ???

Beta 1 was a closed beta. (I believe)
