.Net hosting in UK

Unless I am wrong, it's not so easy to find a .Net hosting in UK.
In Ireland, not a single one.

But I used to work a lot with Tollon, and I am happy for their ASP support.

The problem is that I was stuck with a.Net project to be host in UK.

And I found .... Tollon ! They have .Net platform support, but strangely enough, they don't advertise that at all on their website.

You have to go by the small virtual door of their support, sending a polite email to transform your webspace as a .Net stuff and voila !
I don't know the answer for every company, but it seems that Microsoft has still a hard work to convince hosting companies that .Net is the future not ASP.

Except for the desire to "buy local" which is very strong indeed for me, why limit yourself to the UK for hosting? I use a host that is far away in northern (I think) Canada. But their rates are great, their level of expertise is awesome and their service is fantastic. Ok - I should do them a nice favor - it's Alentus. But the point is, you can use any host right? Unless this is for your big national school project - then I can understand the importance of using a "local" host.

  • I use cheap USA web hosting with asp.net and MS SQL Server 2000 - www.dotnetpark.com

About $6.5 month. Great support team. Why do you need UK hosting only?!
