So it seems that Ajax is now viewed with interest by Microsoft, at least this is what Robert Scoble report this morning citing Charles Fitzgerald (general manager of platform strategy at Microsoft).
"The company is building software, code-named Atlas, that provides developers with tools designed to ease creation of AJAX-style applications. An early version of the software will be made available to developers at the company's Professional Developers Conference in Los Angeles in September."
This is so cool, finally developing with AJAX will make sense if it's adopted by the numbers.
Ajax is a really promising technology so good that it has been implemented in .Net 2.0
If you struggle with the implementation check this excellent article on Developer Fusion.
Scott I know you're busy and I know you told me an update of weblogs.asp.net will come soon, but please we need to do something about those f*** spammers.
I spend like many here too much time deleting all sort of stupid trackback comments proposing anything from poker to online casino.
A good friend Brian, has developed a perfect easy solution which can block most of the crap coming through the blog api (few minutes to install).
So on behalf of every bloggers here, again thanks if you can just implement this feature.
As for now I have to disable the comments.
I will be in Galway this Friday for our first INDA Galway meeting, so it's time now to register if you want to see Paul Fallon (the wizard of .Net) in one of his best lectures about VS 2005 and C# 2.0.
So if you want to meet me I will be in the room besides the speaker :-)

Summary
C#2.0 comes with a significant numbers of very powerful additional new features to the language and the Visual Studio 2005 IDE which increase runtime performance and design time productivity. In C# 2.0 there have been significant additions to the language - such as generics, partial types, anonymous methods, nullable types and iterators – all of which increase the performance and productivity of C# code. In conjunction with this, the Visual C# 2005 development environment comes with developer productivity enhancements, such as refactoring tools, expansions and enhanced intellisense. In this talk, Paul will give a “few slides but lots of demos” talk on the new features in C#2.0 and cover both the new language and IDE enhancements.
Speaker: Paul Fallon
Start Time: 7pm
Location: Galway - Venue Harbour Hotel - www.harbour.ie

For all of you present at our last week session with Eamon, thanks. This was a great speech, I am sure now you wonder about all the code and slides.
Done :-) For all our members (more than 500 today!) go to Developers.ie and at the bottom at the events list, you should see the events archives.
Enjoy C# Omega and SpecSharp.
Probably the best open source progress bar I have ever seen for ASP.NET
Check here for BusyBox 1.2
If you are still thinking Indigo is just a color used by Picasso in his blue period, maybe you should check this article by Chris Peiris on 15second.com
This is a gem if you are lost in the Community Technology Preview jungle. So much version, which VS build one is compatible with which other SQL build.
Channel release the CTP madness cure
This is a great article on HowToDoThings.com. First 'real' application to demonstrate the callback facility in ASP.NET 2.0.
I recommend also this reading if you are interested by recursive databases.
