SQL 2008 CTP is here but it's not really exciting

OK sure this is good news for playing around with the future SQL 2008. Some stuff are going in the right direction.

But for the typical daily maintenance nothing has been improved over SQL 2005. I still hate SQL Studio and nothing in this CTP has changed on the matter.

A big disappointment when you deal with SQL Studio everyday. It's bloated, cumbersome, sluggish and so slow!

So hopefully this pre beta version is just an appetizer and Microsoft will show a better SQL Management tool.

What's about going back to the black board and give us something like Enterprise Manager from the SQL 200 version. It was not that bad after all!
