Net Visionary Awards 2007
I was yesterday at the Net Visionary Awards in Dublin organized by IIA. Great event, and lot of awards!
This year was special for me because it was the first time in my life I was nominated for an award recognition (Social Contribution and Educational Contribution). Yes I was not shortlisted but the fact to be for a little time part of the best people in Ireland is something special.
In my two categories I'll say Damien Mulley was the best candidate to win the prize. Damien got one award in another category and I am glad for him.
Regarding the Education award, I am very please for St Raphaelas Primary School because through the work I do on Scoilnet, we were main supporters of their website project.
Now time to look forward for next week where I will be in another awards ceremony, this time for the Golden Spider Award, and this year another .NET project I developed called Webwise has been shortlisted in the Education category.
