He does have a day job though. As for losing interest, it's tough to judge someone who puts a lot of time into an app that has a lot of free competitors and then decides it's not worth spending every waking moment on. Open source and free software has its good points, but helping people pay the bills while they work on it is not one of them.

Just thought I'd clear that up.
