I was getting the following exception when processing a folder full of images: -

Type:System.OutOfMemoryException

Message:Out of memory.

Source:System.Drawing

pls send the codings. i selected minimum image in folder browse. but i selected more than 30 pictures means its show an error "out of memor exception"

Careful though, static variables are not thread safe. You might want to make the setter private.

I've read all the comments above. As I'm a C++ developer but I always praise visual basic.net as it provides an easy way to get the things done than any other programming language in existence do. Microsoft has tried its best to remain the visual basic as much popular as it was when it was first released. Most of the people think that , Visual basic is easier to learn than c++ or C# but this is not true. If you've programmed in visual basic.net , you must know how much you can get from this language as easy and as fast.

Vb.net supports English-Like syntax. For ex:

For i=0 To 10

MessageBox.Show(i.ToString)

The above statments can be understood by a non programmer as they use normal English like sentence.

Same statements in C# are :

for(i=0 ; i<=10 ; i++)

{

// print(i)

}

the above statements written in C# can't be understood by the person who doesn't know about programming or more specifically programming in C++ or C#.

Although I do lot of programming in C# but I always prefer to program in Visual BAsic .Net
