um, Visual Studio was released last year.  SQL Server 2008 won't be available for months.  How can you say they are both released today?

What do you mean by the "release of 3 revolutionary products"?

Visual Studio 2008 was released in November 2007 and SQL Server won't be released before much later this year...

I just got back from the first Launch Wave event here in Los Angeles and it was pretty cool! You get copies of all the software (1 year eval of Win Server 2008, VS 2008 Std, and SQL Server 2008 CTP). You also get a copy of Windows Vista Ultimate, which I wasn't expecting. There are plenty of great guys attending the events - I especially enjoyed the chalk talk session on the Entity Framework. If you can make it I would suggest you visit an upcoming launch event!
