&lt;p&gt;First off welcome back to blogging! &amp;nbsp;Look forward to seeing you in Seattle.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Second off, I totally agree that it should use the existing OB Interception strategies and policies. &amp;nbsp;Should any additional functionality be required, then you can fold in the Policy Injection Application Block afterwards, but the basis should be what's already in the OB2 Interception.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As for Mono, that's an idea that I hadn't thought of, but sounds like an interesting idea. &amp;nbsp;Anyone care to take the ball and run with that? &amp;nbsp;Of course the tests using MSTest can't be ported, but oh well.&lt;/p&gt;

Folks can be very sensitive about interception approaches and interception mechanisms change across dynamic/static languages as well. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Is anyone trying any of this on Mono? :)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Thanks for your reply. &amp;nbsp;I'm very familiar with that piece due to the fact that I've been working that same angle. &amp;nbsp;Glad to see it's on the list of things since I like OB2's lightweight interception model. &amp;nbsp;And yes, I did notice the performance issues that you talked about and much appreciated. &amp;nbsp;Glad to see you're keeping touch with the community on these things.&lt;/p&gt;
