IT jobs going overseas

This article was on the front page of our Sunday paper here in New Haven, CT. How bad does everyone think this is? I know jobs are tight and the impact of losing jobs to cheap labor may not be bad now, but this article says it may be worse than the loss of manufacturing jobs.

Out to sea

By the way, someone sent me an email referring to my post about C# vs VB .Net. It ended up in the junk mail folder in hotmail and I saw it just as I emptied the folder. Since I can't get it back because junk mail deletions do not go into the trash can, would you mind resending it? Thanks!

My thoughts on C# and VB.Net

I was a VB nut from the beta of 1.0 up to version 6. I just like the C# language syntax better.

I had used Java for a year and really liked writing in it, except that building a GUI app 5 years ago sucked big time. When .Net came out I never gave VB a second thought and went right for the C#. The main thing is the framework anyway. I feel comfortable enough that I could jump to VB if I had to.
