Trying out Windows Live Writer Beta

I only got a dozen or so uses out of BlogJet before the 30-day trial expired.  Since I'm not blogging very much (as is obvious by looking at my archives), I didn't feel like forking out $40 even though I liked BlogJet.

After doing a few searches for blog tools that work with Community Server, I came across a post about Windows Live Writer Beta.  A number of people posted about how well the WYSIWYG editor worked with CS (I never got good WYSIWYG out of BlogJet) so I thought I'd give it a shot.

So far I really like it.  Nice, clean interface.  Very good WYSIWYG support that didn't need any configuration by me -- the tool connected to weblogs.asp.net and "discovered" my style settings.  Very cool!

Ok, now back to posting real .NET content.
