&lt;p&gt;The VS2010 editor is implemented in WPF. My point was, why not use Silverlight vNext for that.&lt;/p&gt;

That doesn&amp;#39;t seem to make any sense to me. The workaround is fine. I just don&amp;#39;t understand why using a nested control doesn&amp;#39;t work properly.&lt;/p&gt;
