RSS Radio and RSSToAudio v0.1

Yesterday as I was telling a co-worker about my RSS to Audio converter we came up with the idea of having RSS Radio.  Simply taking RSS feeds and converting them over to a shoutcast feed or what have you.  Would be interesting to see what sort of marketing could be done with it.

Maybe I will get a beta done later tomorrow or during the week.

Also...

I have version 0.1 done of a RssToAudio tool.  All you need to have installed is the the Microsoft Speech SDK 5.1 installed (I wonder if it will work with JUST the redist?  Anyone care to test it, let me know).  I only tested it on a limited set of feeds.  If your feed breaks try another.

Download the rar here (this is a temp location. contact me if it is no longer active I will send it to you directly).

I've been working on something similiar using the the program "Festival" (http://www.cstr.ed.ac.uk/projects/festival/) off and on for a while now. However, my stopping point (and point of frustration) has been because of the lack of quality voices. The technology has been around for a long time, but I'm surprised how the quality of the voices hasn't evolved anymore then it has. If the voice quality could be improved to sound more human and less robotic then I beleive would catch on.
