Upcoming speaking events

I am planning my speaking for the first part of this year. Here are the various events that are already confirmed:

  • Updated (2/21/2006): ICCA (Independent Computer Consultants Association) Boston Chapter meeting on February 28, 2006 in Waltham, MA. I will not be a panellist along with a few other consultants discussing Microsoft Technology: What does it mean to your clients? More details are available here. My friend Ben Day will be on the panel in my place instead as I will now be out of town on business that week.
  • DevTeach 2006 on May 8-12, 2006 in Montreal, Canada. I will be presenting under the SQL Server track again this year with the topics Reliable applications with System.Transactions and Queuing database applications with Service Broker.
  • VSLive! 2006 Orlando, May 14-18, 2006, in Orlando, FL. I will be speaking again on Leveraging .NET 2.0 Security Features (again, as part of the Advanced Black Belt series). This time, the session is under the Smart Client track, which seems more fitting as I really didn't cover much of ASP.NET security, instead deferring that coverage to other sessions that addressed those issues specifically.

I also plan to speak again at the local New England Code Camp 5: Code Frenzy which was just announced (but no speaker submissions are being taken yet). Stay tuned.
