It is not efficient. He forgot viagra, cialis and modifications + hundreds of chinese etc, etc. You have to have a word black list here and store it either in the database or in memory.

I worte the trackback spam blocker that Paschal is talking about and i was considering going forward with adding configuration support from the blog itself. Interested on working on it together for weblogs.asp.net?


Anatoly: You can configure it to block any words list you want if you just add additional regexular expressions to the config section in the web.config file.

Paschal posts about what seems to be an interesting and efficient way to fight blog trackback spam. Now we need to add a way to manage it from the blog and add support for this here on weblogs.asp.net. Of course, it uses regular expressions :-) well hopefull it works
