I think all devs should be aware of netsh. There is nothing wrong with it, and it does most of what any of the net switching tools do, *and* saves you from any ridiculous GUI. :-) Sure, it does not do firefox proxy settings, but I think you can do that from the cmdline as well.

mawi: netsh is nice and useful and people shold definitely be aware of it, but I'd much rather use a user friendly tool to manage my settings, just like I'd rather use Visual Studop .NET rather than build my projects using the csc.exe command line compiler.

I'm aware of it, but I'll only use it if I don't have any other option which is easier (and free!)
