I think you mean "stuck". Dead pixels are dead - can't do much about them. I have one stuck pixel on my Dell 1905FP that's stuck in a reddish-pink color. None of these tools have worked for me.
I had one stuck pixel on my monitor.
Using UDPixel didn't help but rubbing that pixel (not too hard of course) with my finger helped.
It's about making liquid crystal move a bit.
