David Boschmans - You will be missed
David Boschmans passed away last week. I personally knew him from two conferences I spoke at, TechEd Europe and DevDays Belgium. David was a great guy, and great to work with. He was the one who'd arrange for stuff to happen, get the speakers, and manage tracks at the conferences.
He was in his 30s I think, around my age, and he passed away due to a heart condition. I had no idea and I was in a little show when I read the email announcing it. Here's the official page for David, where you can leave a comment.
My deepest condolences for the family, and for the Microsoft group which lost a great guy. I will personally miss him at TechEd europe, as I'm sure many others will.
I'd like to propose a small, informal event during TechEd Europe this November, for those who knew David. Perhaps go out for a drink to talk aboud David and to remember him. If anyone's up for it, let's do it.
