  • Reflector was good, but this is incredible!

  • Although this is a very good thing (and something I have missed from day 1 starting out with .NET), I think 'awesome' and 'incredible' are very strong words for something that should have been possible from the beginning imho.

'Finally,' is the word I would have chosen :)

  • I concur. Delphi has had that for years. They didn't care about getting their source code out to developers, because it's not like anyone is going to resell it.

  • Now if only they clear up the legal dark cloud surrounding all of this, it'd be actually usable...

  • @Vijay: Well actually this has caused some problems for the mono developers. You are not allowed to contribute to mono, if you have read source code from ms .net relevant for the contribution prior to contributing. Microsoft will sue novell/mono if they think that mono contains derivatory work or work infringing ip.

So, like Guy says: 'finally', but we already have mono, that have been doing this under gpl (and other open source licenses) since the beginning.

    And to Rick: yes, exactly.

  • When this service will be available ? I´ve tried with the VS 2008 RTM version today and the URL was not enabled. The post in Scott´s blog: Published Wednesday, October 03, 2007 9:27 AM...

  • It doesn't get any better than this!
