  • They must have figured it out. I just got my first gmail account a week ago, and no invites at all.

  • Danrael: weird. Maybe you only get them if you actually use your GMail acount X times.... oh well.

  • Wow, such an obvious trick and yet I never thought of that :-) I was actually wondering how some people claimed to have 20-30 invites :-)

  • No luck here too. I heard somewhere that receiving and sending 20 emails will get u one 1 invite. So i'm currently spamming myself. :p

If you're looking for Gmail invites, check it out.

  • Wow. Roy, you certainly think outside the square. You must have some serious spare time with all those accounts you gotta check all the time. How is that tip working out for you now?

Heres a tip: You CAN send in zip files.

If a zip file contains executable code (.dll, .exe etc) gmail will spit it with an invalid attachment. So as long as you don't include anything like that, you can use zip files... If I want to email zip files with executable code in them, I just rename them to .bin files, and attach them, and in the email instruct the user to rename the attachment to .zip...

    Anyways...
