Visual Studio 2008: November of THIS Year?

Published 05 November 07 10:41 PM | russnem
It was formally announced by Microsoft today that Visual Studio 2008 will be released at the end of this month. The only thing I'm going to say at this point is that it seems WAY too soon to me. I'll make blog posts after the release and we'll see if my gut feeling was right or wrong (and I have absolutely no problem being wrong).

Hi Russ,

If you like me are using Beta 2 and making your calls based on that, I would say that it depends on what area you are using of the product.

I find Beta 2 very reliable in general; however in a few areas it is very buggy.  For example, I find all the new CSS features a little buggy (causing product crashes).    But I am assuming they have made a lot of progress over the last 3-4 months fixing these last outstanding bugs.

Personally - I am very much expecting it to be a good release.

And George Bush had a gut-feeling about Putin. Look how that turned out.

In other words, some people thought it might rain because of the ache in their knees.

If it's going to be end of November, I wonder where the Release Candidate drop is?
