GhostDoc 1.2.1 released

While working on version 1.3.0, I ran across some minor issues in 1.2.0 that were pretty easy to fix. These fixes are now available in version 1.2.1.

Download: on the GhostDoc homepage

What's New:

  • Fixed: Under certain circumstances, acronyms used in parameter names that are referenced in summary texts are not handled correctly (the first character of the acronym is shown in lowercase).
  • Added: Better visual feedback after pressing "Import" and "Upgrade" buttons during setup, now the wait cursor appears while the determining the differences between the two configuration (current/imported or default/imported).

  • You and your addin rock! Thanks for the work...

  • Thanks for your feedback!

  • I'm so hefty using GhostDoc! :)

    Request: It would be nice if:

    /// Ons the init.

    void OnInit()

    Instead would write:

    /// On init.

    void OnInit()

    Thanx!

    (and maybe a more easy version upgrade)

  • "On..." methods will be handled in 1.3.0

    Regarding the version upgrade: This is a really strange thing; while I have lots of other installer projects working correctly in an upgrade situtation, I just don't manage the same with GhostDoc -- the upgrade doesn't install correctly.

    Until now, other things were more important, but I'll revisit the problem in the future.

    On the other hand, uninstalling the old version (as the dialog suggests that appears when trying an upgrade) isn't that much work and all your configuration settings are imported by the new installation.

  • When I try to install GhostDoc v1.2.1, I get the following error:

    The advertised application will not be installed because it might be unsafe. Contact your administrator to change the installation user interface option of the package to basic.

    I am an admin on the box, never seen this. Ideas?

  • Hi Andrew,

    that's pretty strange. I have never seen something like this before and you are the first to report it. Could you please send me some more information about your system using my blog's contact form?

    Roland
