At most you could put 80 characters on a terminal. These days, you should be able to get the whole address on one line. Why have two?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Good idea for anyone making apps that will be used by non-US centric users, give them a hint what that field is for.&lt;/p&gt;
