Exchange to disappear within SharePoint!

The next major release of Exchange beyond Exchange Server 2003, code-named "Kodiak" and due some time in 2005 or later, will finally move Exchange to the unified storage subsystem and .NET Framework, and at that point Exchange will be completely integrated with (indeed, perhaps effectively subsumed into) SharePoint and the other .NET-centered Microsoft servers and services.
